About Jiu Jue

Jiu Jue is a high-end wellness brand centered on moxibustion and combined with acupuncture and other traditional Chinese medicine external therapies, founded by Joey Wong, with locations currently in Vancouver, Canada and Silicon Valley, USA.

Our services include Fire Dragon Moxibustion, Box Moxibustion, Turmeric Moxibustion, Hand-Held Moxibustion, Acupuncture, Gua Sha Cupping, Head Therapy + Eye/Face Moxibustion, and Ear Moxibustion, covering a range of wellness needs. Jiu Jue’s core philosophy is “personalized care”: unlike standardized moxibustion parlors, wellness studios, or TCM clinics, every guest receives a health assessment on arrival, and practitioners design a treatment plan based on the results, continuing to follow up and adjust it at each subsequent visit.

Our mission

Jiu Jue’s mission is to bring traditional Chinese medicine external therapies like moxibustion to guests in a way that’s tailored more closely to their individual needs. From assessment to treatment planning, to building a personal file that tracks each guest’s ongoing changes, we continually adjust based on your feedback at every visit, proactively remind you to stay consistent with your treatments, and offer practical guidance on diet and daily habits.

Founder – Joey Wong

During a life stage in which she gradually stepped back from her acting career, she began paying closer attention to her inner state and physical well-being — and it was during this time that she first encountered moxibustion and made it a lasting practice.

This personal experience is the direct reason she founded Jiu Jue — she wanted to share this form of care, from which she herself had benefited over the long term, with more guests through a professional, thoughtfully run space, rather than treating moxibustion as a one-time treatment.
